What is the difference between single and 3-circuit track?
Single-circuit track operates all connected heads together. A 3-circuit system allows compatible heads to be divided between up to three separately controlled groups on the same track.
Can track lighting be installed on a concrete ceiling?
Yes. Because the rail is surface mounted, track lighting is often an excellent solution for concrete ceilings where recessed downlights are impractical.
Can I mix track heads and rails from different brands?
Not automatically. Track profiles and electrical contacts vary between brands and systems. Compatibility should always be confirmed before purchasing.
Can track lighting be dimmed?
Yes, when the track heads or drivers are dimmable and compatible with the installed dimmer. Every component on the controlled circuit must use a suitable dimming method.
How many lights can be installed on one track?
It depends on the track rating, circuit capacity and combined wattage of the heads. The total connected load must remain within the system’s rated limits.
