Quick Eligibility Checklist

To keep it fair and simple, the competitor's offer must be:

  • From an Australian retailer, online or in-store

  • The exact same product including brand, model, colour, size, specifications and warranty

  • In stock and publicly advertised

  • A current and verifiable price

What’s Not Eligible

We cannot beat prices that involve:

  • Clearance, liquidation, or fire-sale pricing

  • Auction sites or marketplace sellers including third-party sellers

  • Membership-only or invitation-only deals

  • Cashback offers, coupons, or bonus credit promotions

  • Wholesale, bulk, trade or commercial pricing

  • Grey or parallel imports

  • Pricing errors or obvious mistakes

Ozlighting Price Beat Guarantee

Ozlighting offers a Price Beat Guarantee on eligible products. If you find the same product advertised for a lower price by an eligible Australian retailer, we will beat that price by 5%, subject to the following conditions.

1. Eligibility

All of the following must be met:

The competitor must be:

  • An Australian retailer

  • Have an active ABN

  • Operate online or from a physical store in Australia

The product must be identical in:

  • Brand

  • Model number

  • Colour or finish

  • Size and configuration

  • Technical specifications

  • Warranty terms

The competitor’s item must be:

  • In stock at the time of verification

  • Publicly advertised

  • A current and valid offer

Price Beat requests must be submitted before purchase.
Price adjustments cannot be applied after an order has been placed.

2. How the Price Beat Is Calculated

If approved, Ozlighting will:

  • Match the competitor’s advertised price

  • Apply an additional 5% discount

The Price Beat applies to the product price only and does not include:

  • Delivery fees

  • Installation

  • Accessories

  • Extended warranties

  • Optional services

The final price is rounded to the nearest cent.

3. Proof of Price

You must provide one of the following:

  • A direct URL to the competitor’s product page, or

  • A written quote showing:

    • Retailer name

    • Product details

    • Price

    • Date and validity

    • Stock availability

Ozlighting reserves the right to verify pricing and availability independently.

4. Exclusions

The Price Beat Guarantee does not apply to:

  • Clearance, liquidation, run-out or fire-sale items

  • Auction sites or marketplace sellers including eBay, Amazon Marketplace or Facebook Marketplace

  • Staff, loyalty, membership-only or invitation-only pricing

  • Cashback, rebates, coupons or store credit promotions

  • Commercial, wholesale, bulk or trade pricing

  • Grey or parallel imports

  • Pricing errors or misprints

  • Damaged, refurbished, ex-display or second-hand items

  • Promotions conditional on:

    • Finance plans

    • Subscriptions

    • Membership sign-ups

    • Bundled packages not offered by Ozlighting

5. Stock Availability

The competitor’s product must be available for immediate purchase.
We cannot approve Price Beat requests for:

  • Pre-orders

  • Back-ordered items

  • Limited stock offers where availability has ended

6. Online and In-Store Pricing

We compare against:

  • Australian online retailers

  • Australian physical retail stores

The price must be available to the general public and not restricted by:

  • Location

  • Membership

  • Special conditions

7. Multiple Discounts

The Price Beat Guarantee:

  • Cannot be combined with any other Ozlighting discount, coupon or promotion

  • Applies to standard retail purchases only

  • Does not apply to trade, wholesale or project pricing unless approved by management

8. Returns and Refunds

If a product purchased under the Price Beat Guarantee is returned:

  • Refunds are based on the actual amount paid

  • Standard Ozlighting return policies apply

9. Right to Refuse

Ozlighting reserves the right to:

  • Decline any request that does not meet these terms

  • Limit quantities per customer

  • Modify or withdraw the Price Beat Guarantee at any time

All decisions are final.

10. How to Request a Price Beat

Before placing your order, send us:

  • The competitor’s product link or written quote

  • Your intended purchase details

Our team will review your request and confirm eligibility.
