Outdoor Spotlights

Garden spike lights are used to highlight trees, plants, walls, signs and landscape features. Their adjustable heads allow the beam to be directed where needed.

Bollard lights are often positioned approximately 2 to 4 metres apart. The ideal spacing depends on their brightness, beam pattern, mounting height and the level of pathway illumination required.

Low-voltage lighting is popular for gardens because it offers flexible installation and is well suited to landscape layouts. A 240V system may suit larger or permanent installations but must be installed by a licensed electrician.

A narrow beam of approximately 15 to 30 degrees works well for highlighting trees and architectural features. Wider beams around 40 to 60 degrees are better for washing larger walls, plants or garden areas.

IP65 is commonly recommended for above-ground garden lights. Inground fittings may require IP67, while lights designed for continuous submersion generally require IP68.
