Smooth Dimming

With the Megaman Dimmerable Series you have a dimmable range of 10% to 100% It dims perfectly smooth with most incandescent dimmer circuits and dimmer switches. Megaman Dimmerable Energy Saving Lamps are compatible with most dimmer switches and dimmer systems.

All Megaman CFL are precision engineered for maximum performance. To get the optimal performance you have to follow a few guidlines
 

1) Each time when switching lamps on and prior to dimming, please run lamps at maximum brightness
for 1-2 minutes. This allows the internal gases within the lamp to stabilise and enables the electronics within
the lamp to dim the output with the aid of the dimmer.
 

2) Once the lamp has warmed up, slowly dim lamp to required level in a smooth manner.
 

3) Lamp is designed to allow its candela output to be reduced to a minimum of 10%. Dimmers fi tted
with a potentiometer are able to be set with a minimum and maximum point. Dimmers that do not have a
potentiometer will require some guess work to know exactly where each point is.
 

4) Note: Megaman DimmerABLE Lamps are not designed to be dimmed to 0%. This can drastically
reduce the performance and life of lamp. A CFL requires a current to be able to operate.
 

5) Lowering the lamp brightness will further reduce the power consumption, making the lamps even
more economical to run.

Who do you use to deliver the goods?

We either use Australia Post or a network of Couriers depending on the delivery destination and the size of the order.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

Most orders will be received within 5 - 7 Business Days, however some of our products are highly customisable or are imported from Europe and for these products delivery can take between 4 - 6 weeks. Where this is the case, we will contact you before processing your order to confirm the expected delivery date.
